Why does Wildfire Wellness accept Bitcoin

Wildfire Wellness is inspired by Bitcoin, which on the surface appears to be a revolutionary monetary system, but at its core represents a return to first principles of decentralization and individual empowerment. Much like Bitcoin, functional medicine prioritizes holistic health over symptom-focused treatments. We see many parallels with Bitcoin’s embrace and that of functional medicine, a return to foundational roots that allows the system to flourish. We’re specifically inspired by Bitcoin legend Hal Finney, who, while battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), selflessly shaped the earliest days of Bitcoin by contributing code and running its first node, changing the world. ALS, a disease that has touched our family as well, has ignited our passion for health and wellness, and so we aim to carry on the torch once carried by Hal, and bring it forward.
